We are looking for highly driven and experienced Camp Cooks to provide direction to kitchen staff, and ensure a high quality of food in camp.

• Prepare the menu and all food requirements for site activity
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food when required
• Assist in maintaining food production control and presentation
• Ensure cleanliness is maintained
• Check in with the Field Manager weekly

• Attend to any and all first aid requirements
• Conduct emergency medevac procedures
• Orientation of all site residents to first aid and emergency procedures
• Inventory and maintenance of first aid supplies
• Maintain first aid room, equipment and supplies
• Attendance at safety meetings/reporting of any Hazards
• Weekly accident/incident/activities reporting to head office

Primarily remote camp location throughout Northern Canada with 10-12 hour work day on a 4 week in, 2 week out rotational schedule.

• 3+ years food service experience as a Cook preferably in a remote camp environment
• Current OFA3 certification or equivalent (70 hour course) with AED
• Technical knowledge: Valid Food Safe and WHMIS Certificates
• Must be bondable
• Red Seal and/or commercial cooking background preferred
• Solid problem solving, organization and communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office

Successful candidates will be service and team-oriented individuals with keen observation skills.
